Yaritza’s Immigration and DACA Story

Yaritza Tinoco will be joining us via Zoom, she currently resides in Little River, South Carolina with her US born husband, and their 19-month-old son. She is originally from Veracruz, Mexico and was brought to the United States at the age of 2. Yaritza is now 28 years old, and the United States is the only home she has ever known. She has been a DACA recipient for 10 years now and is currently in the process of obtaining a green card. Throughout the years her legal status has thrown many hurdles at her, but she has been able to overcome the struggles with the help of her family and friends.
