the Joy of Sisterhood
Who We Are The Sisterhood
of Temple Beth Torah is a vital partner in helping
our congregation enrich the lives of our members
and the surrounding community. Sisterhood gives
each of us the opportunity to combine our heritage
of Jewish culture, values, and traditions with our
need and desire for personal growth, purposeful
action, and meaningful service. We promote learning
and spirituality while helping our members develop
new friendships, share in mitzvot, and get involved
in synagogue life.
Get Involved As leaders in
our community, we strive to ensure that each member's
experience is meaningful. We provide many ways for
individuals to get involved, such as serving on
one of our exciting and rewarding committees. This
is a great way to make a real difference, while
making new friends. Our wide variety of events that
are scheduled throughout the year reach out to women
with a great range of interests. Our committees
include:

- Helping Hands - providing support for all
in times of need

Membership
For an annual fee of $36.00, you can support our
Sisterhood, so we can support your dreams and the
dreams of our community. Included in our dues is
a membership to Women's League for Conservative
Judaism, a network that represents the voice of
Conservative Jewish women worldwide.
