About Us

History

Temple Beth Torah was founded in 1972 by a group of 16 families who yearned for a community temple in Holliston. From the beginning, the divergent needs and backgrounds of our members have been considered in developing a philosophy that maintains and builds upon Jewish traditions.

We have a diverse membership spanning across all parts of life; families with young children as well as senior congregants, interfaith families and even founding families with their children and grandchildren.
We are located on Rte. 16 in Holliston near the Milford line and have members from Holliston, Ashland, Franklin, Milford, Medway, Millis, Hopkinton, and other nearby communities.

Mission Statement :

Temple Beth Torah is a warm and welcoming congregation that strives to be a focal point of our members’ Jewish lives by recognizing the needs of our congregants, by providing services that are self-sustaining and by being a part of the greater Jewish community.

Vision Statement:

We will challenge our members to become active participants in synagogue life through excellent programs and leadership in a facility in which our members take pride.

Values Statement:

We are a welcoming Jewish Community dedicated to learning, T’zdakah and Tikkun Olum. This is accomplished through excellence in our programs, professional staff and volunteers all working within the framework of the Conservative Jewish movement.
